Assistant Coordinator
For Brookdale's Fashion Show Melomania, I'm one of the assistant coordinators. My job entails me to help where I'm needed, communicate with different departments like Brookdale TV, check in with our professors, and just make sure everything is being done on time for the show. I conducted interviews with the designers for the show, with the help of Brookdale TV and our Fashion Club president Ana, to really get into what exactly their inspirations were for each of their looks.
Backstage Assistant
Working behind the scenes of a fashion show is something I really enjoy. My first experience was in Brookdale's Fashion Show in 2025, Eras of Art. I helped mostly with dressing models for quick changes throughout the show. I also helped line up the models and making sure there was enough time between models for quick changes. I volunteered for the Newark Fashion Show in September 2025 as an assistant to a designer. I helped her with last minute sewing, styling decisions, and steaming the garments.
Video Coordinator
As video coordinator for Brookdale's Fashion Show Melomania, I'm creating and editing videos to be put into the show. It is a behind the scenes video of all the work put on the last semester by everyone involved. It's a little "Life as a Fashion Student" video to showcase our guests at the show with how much work putting on a show in one semester is.
